The Black Barbershop Health Outreach Program needs your help!

The Black Barbershop Health Outreach Program has a goal to screen over 500,000 African American men for diabetes and hypertension by the year 2012. We will educate at least 200,000 men about prostate cancer and decision making. To reach our target we need your help. By joining our team you will help save the lives of fathers, sons and brothers around the country. Because African American men have the lowest life expectancy of any other group in the United States, your partnership with this effort will help change future of families both far and near.

The Black Barbershop Health Outreach Program is looking for black owned barbershops to participate in our national screening effort to help educate African American men about the life threatening complications of diabetes and high blood pressure.
